Stratford Hall Robert E. Lee's Birth Place

Stratford Hall best known as the birthplace of Robert E. Lee was constructed between 1730 – 1738 by Thomas Lee. Stratford Hall is located on a high bluff above the Potomac River east of Fredericksburg and is a short distance from George Washington’s birthplace.
