Jackson's Procession Lynchburg, VA 2007

Lynchburg was the 140th anniversary of the death of General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. In 1863 during the transport of his body to Lexington, the town of Lynchburg gave Jackson a funeral procession. In 2007, this funeral procession was reenacted by Confederate Reenactors and the town of Lynchburg. The procession was on the same route as the original procession and the eulogy for Jackson was read word for word from the original. The event was very moving for all in attendance.
