Margaret
Lavinia Morrison, born in 1824. Father, James Morrison was
a Presbyterian Minister. She had one brother, Henry Rutherford
Morrison and two sisters, Mary Moore and Mary Anna Morrison.
Mary Anna married Thomas "Stonewall Jackson in 1857.
She met Robert Lewis Dabney in 1847 in Augusta County, Virginia,
while he was pastor of the Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church.
They were married on March 28, 1848. Margaret and Robert had
six sons and three of their sons died of diphtheria in there
youth. Her husband died in January of 1898, and she joined
him in 1909.
